Over the years, we have designed, manufactured and installed light weight steel support systems for buildings, old and new, to accommodate almost any metal cladding system in steel, aluminium, copper and zinc with whatever surface finish and colour our customers required.

All of Format’s commercial steel buildings comply with the very latest structural requirements and are manufactured in our own UK-based production facility using fully traceable materials.
Produced from pre-galvanised sections, our robust, durable structures are designed for easy self-assembly or you can request our skilled team of engineers to install them for you if you prefer.
We can design and configure your building to your individual needs, allowing you to specify the exact size, colour, type of pitch, and number of roller shutter doors, as well as the number and position of personal access doors. Roller shutters can be either mechanical or motorised.
You can also choose the type of material used for the walls and roofing. For general storage many customers prefer a single skin. Where a building needs to be kept warm (e.g. for business or workshop use) we recommend composite panels are used for insulation.
